Grooming has ended for the season at the Alturas trails. Crust cruising is still happening but sage is poking through the snow pack a little more each day…actually, a lot more. Spring has come to the Sawtooths. Thanks for your support through this last season. Happy trails to you until we meet again.

On Monday, March 21st, all skate lanes at Alturas Lake were groomed. Most classic tracks were left as is, since trying to reset them would probably have turned out worse. Classic tracks might be described as ok but deteriorating. Skating and crust cruising are quite good.
