SURREAL SKIING AT ALTURAS LAKE

On Tuesday, the 12th of January, the skating lanes on all of the trails at Alturas Lake were regroomed and surreally good. Classic tracks still looked great on all trails except for North Cabin Creek trail which lacked the double grooves but made up for it in crazy, scary, corduroyed downhills. Skiers reported increased glide and an unexpected release of the creative potential of the unconscious mind.
